What we do

Solutions for your space.

Whether you’re planning a new home, improving one room or sorting out an existing installation, we start with how you use the space. Then we agree the functions, equipment and scope of work.

Contemporary interior with architectural lighting switched on

In the morning, the curtains open and daylight enters the room. In the evening, one touch changes the lighting and climate settings. We bring lighting, climate and shading together in scenes shaped around your family’s routines.

How we plan the solution
Your daily routine

We start with an ordinary day: when you get up, how you spend your evenings and which rooms you use most. We then plan lighting, heating, cooling, ventilation and curtains to work together. You choose the atmosphere and the agreed functions respond as a group.

Comfortable control

Control can be through a wall switch, a panel or your phone, depending on the interior and your preferences. For a villa, we can also consider outdoor lighting, pergolas, irrigation, the pool, spa and energy monitoring. Each function is included where it serves the project.

First step
Where we start

Tell us about the property and what you would like to make easier. Before a renovation, we can plan cabling and control locations. In a finished interior, we first review the infrastructure already available.

Home cinema with a projection screen and upholstered seating

A film in the living room, music on the terrace and quiet in the bedroom: each zone has its own moment. We design multiroom audio and home cinema with shared controls. Speakers, screens and equipment are coordinated with the interior.

Features
What we plan with you
  • Multiroom audio and independent music zones
  • Home cinema or a dedicated cinema room
  • Coordinated audio, video, lighting and curtains
  • In-wall and in-ceiling speakers
Approach
How we plan the solution
How you watch and listen

We discuss what you enjoy watching and listening to, where the family gathers and whether you want a dedicated cinema room. We then plan speakers, a television or projector and audio and video sources around the actual space.

Integration with the interior

Cables, equipment locations and controls are best considered before the finishes go in. We work with the designer on visible and integrated elements. Where useful, starting a film can also adjust lighting and curtains, preparing the room through one coordinated action.

First step
Where we start

Tell us where you want to listen to music or watch films, which equipment you already own and what matters in the interior. We define the experience first, then the system.

Security camera mounted on a light-coloured column

Seeing who is at the door, letting guests in or receiving a leak alert are everyday needs. We bring cameras, door entry, access control and sensors together. We agree which events matter to you and how you want to respond.

What we plan with you
  • CCTV and perimeter monitoring
  • Video intercom and access control
  • Leak and smoke sensors
  • Security scenes and presence simulation
Approach
How we plan the solution
Areas to monitor

We review entrances, vehicle access, the perimeter and internal zones that need monitoring. Cameras, door entry, access devices and sensors are planned around the layout and the owner’s needs. Security and building-protection functions are agreed for each property.

Access and notifications

We define who can view cameras, receive alerts and manage access. We check equipment compatibility and integration with the wider system. The aim is to make important events clear and keep everyday use convenient for the family and visitors.

First step
Where we start

Show us a plan or describe the entrances and areas you want to monitor. For an existing installation, we review the equipment, available settings and the changes you need.

Network cables connected to equipment ports

A video call in the study, a film in the living room or control from the terrace: the connection matters in every zone. We design wired networks and Wi-Fi around the layout and devices. When a network is unstable, we investigate coverage, connections and settings.

Features
What we plan with you
  • Indoor Wi-Fi and the outdoor zones you need
  • Wired networking and communications cabling
  • Network equipment locations and organisation
  • Wi-Fi coverage and network stability checks
Approach
How we plan the solution
Coverage and connections

We review walls, floors, outdoor areas and the locations where people and equipment will use the network. We plan Wi-Fi access points, cable routes, switches and equipment locations. For fixed devices, we consider wired connections where appropriate.

Checks and organisation

The network supports both internet access and communication between building systems. We check coverage and connections in the agreed zones, organise equipment and identify cabling. For an existing network, we first establish whether a problem comes from the provider, equipment or the installation itself.

First step
Where we start

Tell us where connections drop, which devices you use and how internet reaches the property. A new project starts with the plan; an existing network starts with a review.

Technician working at an electrical panel

Sockets should be where the equipment needs them, while lighting and building systems need well-planned connections. We coordinate wiring, distribution boards and circuits with the rest of the home. This is especially useful before finishes go in, while locations and connections can still be planned.

  • Distribution boards, sockets and connection points
  • Coordination of electrical work, lighting and automation
  • Circuit checks and labelling
Approach
How we plan the solution
Connection planning

We plan cable routes, circuits, distribution boards, sockets and lighting connections. Furniture, appliances, controls and building equipment are considered together, so the electrical infrastructure is coordinated with the interior and automation.

Coordinating the work

We coordinate work with electricians and other specialists so that lighting, climate and control decisions match the actual connections. In an existing property, we review the infrastructure and available documentation before defining the changes.

First step
Where we start

We need to understand the layout and stage of the renovation. Drawings help, but you can start the conversation without them: we will identify the information needed.

Technician with a laptop at an open automation cabinet

Are scenes unreliable, devices losing connection or controls becoming awkward? We start by reviewing the existing system and its settings. We help you understand the causes, decide what is worth keeping and plan recovery, upgrades or expansion.

What we plan with you
  • Review of equipment, settings and scenes
  • Recovery and upgrade planning
  • Additional functions and ongoing support
  • Review of system documentation and access
Approach
How we plan the solution
Checking the system

We review equipment, documentation, access and available settings. We check the agreed functions and communication between devices. This lets us discuss changes based on the system’s actual condition, without assuming everything needs to be replaced.

An upgrade plan

After diagnosis, we explain the problems found and the possible next steps: adjusting logic, restoring functions, upgrading compatible equipment or expanding in stages. We also discuss documentation, handover of control and ongoing maintenance.

First step
Where we start

Describe what is unreliable and what you would like to change. Diagrams, equipment lists and access to settings help us get started; we will work out what information is missing together.

Frequently asked questions

Before you start your project

When should I bring in Sentido Living?

Planning or early renovation is the best time to allow for cabling, control panels and keypad locations. If the renovation is already complete, we look at what can be added around the existing finishes and wiring.

Can you upgrade an existing smart home?

Yes. We review the equipment, documentation and settings we can access. Then we explain what can stay and what work would help restore, update or extend the system.

What affects the cost?

It depends on the number of rooms, the features you want, the stage of the renovation and the existing wiring. Equipment and the scope of work also affect the price. We discuss what you need first and refine the estimate after reviewing the property.

What still works without internet?

It depends on the equipment and configuration. A wall keypad can control lighting through a local system, for example, while access from outside the home needs a connection. During design, we agree on which features should remain available offline.
